Pete Wiltjer

As president and founder of PWMG, Pete Wiltjer loves the opportunity to share the knowledge and experience of his 15+ years in public relations, journalism, event management, direct marketing and interactive marketing. Pete has managed programs for a variety of professional services and technology industry organizations, ranging from start-ups to billion-dollar conglomerates, and he has extensive experience promoting not-for-profit technology user groups.

Most recently, Pete served as Managing Partner for the Bradley Wiltjer Marketing Group, a B2B marketing firm, and held that position for five years.

Before co-founding the Bradley Wiltjer Marketing Group, Pete spent five years as a key member of the B2B practice at the Ruder-Finn Group, one of the world’s largest independent public relations agencies. He has also managed marketing and communications for PLATINUM technology’s Global Consulting Organization and a variety of not-for-profit technology industry associations on behalf of the association management firm SmithBucklin.

Throughout his career, Pete has provided award winning services to his clients, and his work has been recognized with a Silver Trumpet Award from the Publicity Club of Chicago, three League of American Communications Professionals awards, a Business Marketing Association Tower Award and many internal awards from employers for achievement and excellence.

He began his career as a daily newspaper reporter covering local and state government for papers in Rensselaer and Valparaiso Indiana while also serving as a part-time, on-air contributor to a weekly panel news program for WYIN TV. Wiltjer earned his bachelor’s degree in Communications and Political Science from Valparaiso University.

Wiltjer lives in Aurora with his wife, two children and his dog Rensselaer.

 


 

Kylie Wiltjer
Business Development Manager

Kylie Wiltjer joined the Pete Wiltjer Marketing Group in spring 2009 as Business Development Manager. She is responsible for new business and client development operations for PWMG.

Kylie’s diverse experience includes a consultative sales background, sales management, public speaking, corporate training, motivation and coaching. For the past eight years, she has worked with The Pampered Chef, most recently as an independent sales director, and then previously as a regional sales manager for the corporation.

Kylie was also a technology trainer for the educational software company E-Tutor and a sales representative for the content management company Imaging Office Systems.

Before entering the corporate world, Kylie had a successful teaching career for seven years, where she earned tenure in just three years.

She graduated from Valparaiso University with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Cum Laude. She lives in Illinois with her husband, two children and Wheaten Terrier.

 


 

Tressa Foster
Graphic Designer

Tressa Foster has worked with PWMG since 2005. Through her company Fresh Concepts, she has helped PWMG develop a variety of marketing and sales collateral, ranging from company logos and brochures to postcards, catalogs and a multitude of web-based designs.

She keeps her skills sharp through her active involvement in The American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) and through continuing education classes from Adobe and Dynamic Graphics Training. A graduate of the Illinois Institute of Art, Tressa is a real creative asset to PWMG and its clients.
